According to Senior Class president Julian Batts, the class officers are helping organize end-of-year activities in these last few weeks of school. They are solely responsible for the “Senior Superlatives,” a student-voted “Most Likely To” list.

Senior Class sponsor Allison Malloy said the list was recently approved and will available for seniors either in SRTs or in an online poll. After the seniors’ votes are tallied, the results will be announced at graduation on June 2, she said.

Malloy and the officers are also putting together a menu for the light meal that will be provided for seniors between the morning rehearsal and afternoon ceremony on graduation day, Malloy said.

Batts also represents the class officers in the organization of GradFest, which will take place after graduation from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. in the freshman cafeteria, Batts said.

According to Malloy, this year’s Senior Class officers have worked hard to meet seniors’ needs and ease the transition when Julian Fellows, Malloy’s co-sponsor for the Senior Class, left the school.

“We’ve had really good officers who’ve been involved and want to be involved, which has made the process more authentic,” Malloy said.
