Model U.N. members plan to Dec. 3, according to sponsor Sandy Gardner. Members will continue to prepare information for the next conference at Earlham College.

Co-president and senior Mariam Bari said all veteran delegates are allowed to attend this event. She said she hopes members who had attended the Vanderbilt conference have learned from their experience and will continue to pass on their tips and tricks to underclassmen.

“They can apply their skills in future conferences by having learned about the ambiance and style of debate.” Bari said.

According to Bari, members will continue to participate in mock legislative sessions during meetings, in which they discuss scenarios and practice their negotiation and debate skills.

Beyond the practice sessions, Bari said it is important for members to prepare on their own, especially by researching and gathering information on assigned topics and countries.
