    Deflategate…What Happened Monday

    Deflategate%E2%80%A6What+Happened+Monday

Alright, so as you know, we have a proud 7 month history of covering the biggest news in sports. So, what’s the storyline for today? I’ll give you a hint, it’s becoming the new D-word…Deflategate.

Yuck. And the mere mention of that awful word makes any fan, even Colts fans, puke.

But, yes kids, we are back in Deflategate. Brady and the NFL were back in court on Monday, March 1; and let’s just say Brady got ripped apart by the judge (metaphorically, not literally). What do I mean by that? The judge called his case “unrealistic” and “not related to the issue at hand”.

So, with that much preemption in favor of the NFL, already ESPN has gone to town about the suspension factor.

One reporter said “He (Brady) should be suspended for 5 games.” Mike Wilbon, who co-hosts “Pardon the Interruption”, said “he should be forced to retire.” And Skip Bayless said, “Let’s stick with the original punishment 4 games and get this over with. This incident is a shame to the entire sport of football.”

And I have to agree with Skip. I, like countless other fans, want this incident done and dusted. Just give Brady the original suspension and drop this and bury this. I’m already ashamed to be an NFL fan. Just get it over with for once.

Catch you all next week. I’m going to go quietly meditate to calm my churning stomach.
