Greyhound Connections anticipates arrival of new students

by Beats

Olivia LaMagna, Greyhound Connections co-president and senior, said the group, which is responsible for helping new students adjust to this school, is preparing for new students to arrive at the start of next semester.

“Most of the students we help are new at the beginning of the year, but we do have some that come in new at the start of the semester,” she said.

Sponsor Joe Stuelpe said the group is run and led by LaMagna and senior Elaine Lynch.

Amy deOliveira, Greyhound Connections member and senior, said the group will get their lists of new students within the coming weeks.

“We will get a list of all the new students for the second semester and then divide the new students up within our group,” deOliveira said. “Then we will basically repeat what we did with first semester new students, showing them around the school and answering any of their questions.” By Nina Underman <nunderman@hilite.org>
