On Sunday, November 9, from 1 to 3 p.m., this school will host its first community open house.
Assistant principal Amy Skeens-Benton said the purpose of the open house is to show the community what this school has to offer.
According to Principal John Williams, the idea for the open house came from the Carmel High School Marketing Committee. “We thought it would be a good idea to do it,” Williams said.
Skeens-Benton said, “We have needs from the community that are being taken care of with the open house: perspective students, realtors, business people, alumni. The open house will provide members from the community with tours and opportunities to talk with students, coaches, teachers, department heads and counselors.”
