FCCLA selling cupcakes April 29 and 30 during lunch

Jordan Bear, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America Club (FCCLA) president and junior, said she is looking forward to selling cupcakes during lunch in the main cafeteria on April 29 and 30. The club plans to donate this money to the Children’s Miracle Network.

“The Children’s Miracle Network is connected to Riley Children’s Hospital so it’s another great way to help raise money for the kids who wouldn’t be able to pay for their treatments,” Bear said.

FCCLA sponsor Lila Torp said the club members are helping out with the project by making posters for the cupcake sales and signing up to sell them during lunch.

“I was really happy to see how many students wanted to help out with this project and I just hope all of their hard work helps raise a lot of money for such a great cause,” Torp said. By Erum Rizvi <erizvi@hilite.org>
