The GKOM organization is currently planning its next Connection Session, which is scheduled for SRT on Oct. 13. According to lead GKOM sponsor Mike Meyer, the main focus of the Connection Session will be to discuss Fall Break.

“When the GKOMs meet with their freshmen during SRT on (October 13), they will be primarily discussing safety during Fall Break and staying out of trouble,” Meyer said. “They will also go over our new ‘No Greyhound Sits Alone’ program again and continue to work on getting every student involved in at least one club.”

According to Meyer, the week before each Connection Session is a “build-up week” in which emails are sent out to all GKOMs to let them know what they will be discussing with their SRT. Meyer and the members of the GKOM council decide the topic of discussion during GKOM SRT.

“I get really excited when I know there is a Connection Session coming up because I enjoy spending time with my freshmen and getting to know them better,” junior and GKOM Tessa Haefcke said.
