Accents, Ambassadors preparing for ‘Holiday Spectacular’

The Accents and Ambassadors are currently preparing  for the annual holiday choral performance, “Holiday Spectacular.” The shows will be Nov. 30 through Dec. 4 in the Dale E. Graham Auditorium. Tickets will go on sale to participants on Nov. 1 and to the public on Nov. 3.

According to choir director Lamonte Kuskye, the Ambassadors practice from 6 to 9 p.m. every Wednesday. Both groups continue to rehearse during their class periods.

“I’m really excited for the show,” Kuskye said. “We are changing things a little, but I’m excited for teaching the kids new music.”

Ambassador and senior Sarah Walker said the Ambassadors will be performing the Glee song, “Rocking on the Rooftop.” She also said the group will be performing “Silent Night” with the entire choir department.

“Holiday Spectacular is the biggest event for the choir every year and requires a lot of effort and practice from everyone,” Walker said. “It includes singing, dancing and a lot of entertainment for everyone.”
