Swing Club prepares for black and white dance

The members of the Swing Dance club said they welcome new members to join for the upcoming black and white dance in January. Meetings for this will take place every Monday in room E157.

President and junior Angela Cosgrove said she encourages all students to get involved with this festivity.

“It is always a fun and festive time for students and will encourage people to make many new friends,” Cosgrove says.

Student body president Terrance Lewis said he wishes for more members to join this club.

“Learning to dance is really fun. We don’t do anything in particular, so experience is not needed. This is a really good chance to be more involved with the school,” Lewis says.

Sponsor Caren Rickett sid she will try to help out with the basic steps.

“I’m still getting used to this club. I think I will try to help with the inside steps and help out as much as I can,” Rickett says.
