I HATED this movie. I LOVED these books. Although I knew that a movie could never cover all the details of the book, I was hoping that it would cover more than it did. It just seemed that it skipped over so much. And the casting was awful. The Cullins were supposed to be very beautiful, but in my opinion there were not even good looking. Especially the men. The love between Edward and Bella had been barely touched upon in this movie, and for me, that was the whole book, and the whole series. I am not sure if I can watch the second movie out of sheer disappointment for the first.

Boy, Stepanie Meyer must be really upset!

URGH I GO NUTS ABOUT TWILIGHT SAGA EVERY SINGLE OF THE BOOK I ENJOYED, LOVED, AND READ. sometimes i go to the extent to staying up late at night to finish the book so that i can move on to the next. I cnnt believe the detail of every single thing in the books that u can even imagine as if you were bella in the book. and also about how everyone was feeling.THE BOOK HAD AMAZING DETAILS AND SUSPENSE MIXED WITH ROMANCE. AND URGH. blast it. THE MOVIE WAS A MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. i nearly wanna puke. even though robert pattinson was er…. pretty ugly, but with the make up and eyes and…, better hair he made the look of a vampire., quite contented. bella,…….was, LUCKY, to make it in the movie. in the book JACOB was an irritatin character to me. i wanted to just skip jacob and read the romance between edward and bella. edward was a picture of a perfect guy all of us gals would want. The movie was the total opposite:

IT RUSHED THROUGH ALL THE SCENES, A BLUR, NO DETAILS, NO ROMANCE.
at least there wasn’t much irritatin jacob in it.
suddenly they just met, the next moment, bella was “unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.”
NO DETAILS. no chemistry, no specificy in the nights edward spent with bella, no meadow, no kiss, no touch, edward in this book had already kissed bella a few times with ALOT of control, but the movie only let them kiss once. no biology with blood or faint. the house didn’t seem big and scary, abit too bright. and the rooms weren’t as big as in the book.

i’m FUMING. if i continue i’m afraid i’ll have a heart attack, lets just hope the new movie out in november 09 “New moon” would be much better.

I was really angry in at the movie. my and my friend rebecca made a list of about fifty things wrong with the movie. Here area few
the forest wasnt a forest………it was a cluster of trees
Edwards bite marks were on the left but in the flashback Carlisle bit him on the right, Esme was bite on the left
Rosalie wasnt the right kind of mean she was to bitchy
Jasper look constapated
Alice was to girly, more punkish would have made her perfect
When Edward first saw Bella in the class and when he smelt her was all wrong it was to noticable
He never got out the car when Bella was in the alley
The small date scene was stupid in that little cafe with that tiny table
Emmett was a little dense in the head
Esme wasnt motherly enough
Carlisle make up was to thick
Jacobs hair was all wron, should have been straight and in a pony tail

but im going to stop here cauuse i can go on forever

I didn’t like the cast in the movie at all!!! the only characters that I liked where Charlie, Alice, James and maybe Jacob.. but I absolutely hated Edward and Bella in the movie! they can’t act at all!! all the chemistry was gone in the movie! I felt like they didn’t have feelings! I was so disappointed! I really hope that the new director will make it better… although if they keep the same Edward and Bella which they will, it’s going to be the same =(

ok u guys are ridiculous u should be thankful they even made a movie it was awesome and i think its crap tht u gus complain about it if u like the books and this is most definately the next harry potter cus in my oppinion twilight is the best movie and series there is and for robert pattinson hes adorable hes sooo cute even with his new haircut so everybody get over themselves cus twilight is da bomb and no one can change tht.

Thank You! Someone who shares my sentiments! It was like, saying the things, all the things i was disappointed about this movie. I am such a big fan of the twilight books and despite people saying the movie does not live up to the readers’ expectations, i was curious enough to watch it anyway. i wanted to kill someone when i walked out of that theatre. the optimism and excitement was lost. the magic of the books were lost in the movie….it was awkward. i always thought bella was this sad little 17 year old but at the same time, she’s still a teenager with such a good sense of humor who lovingly adored this vampire. robert pattinson did a good job, just not worth a standing ovation!
i was just extremely disappointed.

The Movie Was Horrible…

Intensity, Magnetism, Sensuality, all were taken out…

The only person who actually resembled any of the main characters, was Alice….

Rosalie was supposed to be beautiful… what happened….

Edward was supposed to be handsome… what happened….

What happened to the fabulous, fierce, red hair, and sensuality of the red headed vamire… what happened… really….

And Bella run out of hotel not out of the airport… it clearly stated in the book, that Alice could read minds….

And u saw Jake only in two scenes…. were was the supspence of vampires… the scary parts… the romance, the sensuality, devotion, love, hate, passion….

Why did she make that movie any way

I knew this movie would be horrible from the moment Robert Pattinson was cast as Edward.

Also, although I am a fan of Twilight, it will NEVER be the next Harry Potter in any way, shape or form!
