DECA members plan for Santa’s Secret Shop

DECA members along with all marketing class students are currently preparing for Santa’s Secret Shop, which will take place from Nov. 28 to Dec. 7, according to DECA sponsor Janice Brown.

“[Santa’s Secret Shop] is more class-related. It is part of their classroom instruction, and they are breaking up in to management teams within the class and are meeting as a team,” Brown said. “Each team has a specific thing they will work on, and they will decide on vendors and what they will be buying.”

Brad Kremer, DECA secretary and senior, said he is excited for DECA events this year.

“I’ve been in DECA since the beginning of junior year,” Kremer said. “It’s a great activity and I encourage all sophomores to take it next year.”
