Maintenance department prepares for sectional game against Warren Central

The maintenance department is preparing for the Nov. 4 Sectional game against Warren Central. The game is expected to attract many people due to Warren Central’s 22-20 defeat of Carmel earlier this season.

“There will be a packed crowd,” said maintenance foreman Mike Wyatt.

According to Wyatt, the department will make sure that the plumbing, scoreboard, electrical and heating are all working.

“It will be televised, so we’ll hook the TV station power to the building,” Wyatt said.

Students said the work the maintenance department does is a large part atmosphere at Carmel football games.

“I appreciate the work that they do for the football games,” said Sophomore Sharmila Paul.
