Debate team to compete at La Porte Dec. 3

Debate team members will travel to their third competition of their competition season on Dec. 3. The competition will take place at La Porte High School. Team members will prepare for the competition during after school practices, the time of which have not yet been announced.

Debate team adviser James Ziegler said, “During the upcoming practices we will prepare for the competitions differently. This year we are incorporating mock debates which allow for better and more realistic practice.”

According to Ray Qian, debate team member and senior, “Our debates are very exciting. Everyone who participated did very well. I cannot wait for our next chance to prove ourselves.”
