German Club to watch ‘Big’ Nov. 29

German Club members will meet in Room A224 on Nov. 29, from 3:15 to 5:30 p.m, to watch the movie “Big,” which stars actor Tom Hanks, in German. There is a $2 fee for non-German club members to attend this meeting.

Michaela Bunting, German Club president and senior, said that in order for the movie to appeal to non-German-speaking audiences, the club will be watching it with English subtitles.

“We usually try and do a movie day once a year,” Bunting said via e-mail. “All of us on the [executive] board thought we’d keep up with the tradition because it usually generates a great turnout and it’s also a lot of fun.”
