Global Giving selling cupcakes for the Julian Center March 19 to 23

Global Giving members will sell cupcakes in main cafeteria during all lunches from March 19 to 23,

The cupcakes cost one dollar each, and club members will donate the funds raised by the bake sale to the Julian Center. The Julian Center is an organization, founded in Indianapolis, dedicated to helping those affected by domestic and sexual abuse. Their funds are used to protect the victims of abuse and spread awareness to the general public.

Some of the club members met up over the weekend prior to the bake sale and made the cupcakes.

According to Jessica Chiang, club member and sophomore, “I really enjoyed decorating the cupcakes.”

Global Giving members are also in the process of planning a trip to Chicago for sometime in the upcoming weeks. The trip is still tentative based on time and other factors.

According to Chiang, “The Chicago trip is for (Global Giving members) to hang out together and bond.”
