FCCLA planning for bake sale April 18 to 20, March of Dimes April 28

FCCLA members are planning for a bake sale that will benefit Share Our Strength, which is a national outreach that combats childhood hunger. The bake sale will take place from April 18 to 20. They will also participate in the Hamilton County March of Dimes walk on April 28. The March of Dimes is an organization that educates families about raising healthy babies.

“The bake sale is going to be really great, and right now we are preparing ideas for it,” Katie Ingersoll, FCCLA member and sophomore, said.

FCCLA members recently finished the State conference taking home four first place awards and many more silver awards.

“The students couldn’t have done any better and we are very proud of them, especially our gold winners,” sponsor Nancy Spencer said.
