UNICEF club members scheduled to participate in Frosh Rock Apr. 12

According to UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund) club president Stephanie Wu, club officers are scheduled to promote UNICEF club at Frosh Rock on Apr. 12, an event for incoming freshman to preview clubs and classes.

“We’re going to recruit new members by showing them brochures related to UNICEF since most people have never heard of the organization,” Wu said.

Sponsor Jill Noel said, “The new club officers will man the booth at Frosh Rock. Right now it is only going to be two people.”

Wu also said the new officers were taking more responsibility in the club.

“We’re asking the new officers to do many of the events now,” Wu said. “Future events will be both run and planned by them.”
