Do Something Club to help at Third Phase shelter April 21, planning other events

Sponsor James Ziegler said the Do Something Club members will visit the Third Phase shelter on April 21.

“There will be a group of us going, helping them out, serving food, stocking shelves, as well as helping the clothing area there,” Ziegler said. “So we’ll spend the afternoon there.”

Co-president and junior Hunter Leonard said a group of club members will go to Cool Creek on April 21 as well. He said they will be there to help clean up the area.

Ziegler said the club members will meet on April 24 to discuss future activities and leadership plans for next year.

Ziegler also said the club members will also visit the Summer Trace nursing home again on May 25 for an ice cream social and to talk to veterans as part of Armed Forces Day.
