Spirit Shop opens, new spirit wear materials available

The CHS Spirit Shop opened Aug. 17. Students can purchase spirit clothes and other items during SRT or from 7:15 to 7:45 a.m.

According to Laura Cardamon, Co-op Coordinator of the Spirit Shop, the shop has many new items including tie dye t-shirts, lanyards, sweatpants and sweatshirts.

“We want to keep our shop updated so we have new items and new window displays,” Cardamon said. “Also, we have a new floor plan to keep looking fresh.” Cardamon said that all money from the Spirit Shop goes to DECA, a business program here.

According to senior Callie Dedinsky, an employee at the Spirit Shop, she believes that if students buy at the Spirit Shop, they are supporting their school through their clothes. “It’s definitely worthwhile because you can get clothes and the money goes to DECA,” Dedinsky said.

The Spirit Shop also has an online store. “The online store has a lot of the same items as the store,” Cardamon said. “Online, you can get special items like emblems on teacher sweatshirts.” Students can purchase online items at chsspiritshop.com.
