Top academic students honored

Carmel High School’s Parent-Teacher Organization recognized the school’s top academic students in each grade at a banquet that took place April 20 at the Ritz Charles in Carmel. The top 3 percent of freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors, based on cumulative grade point average, were honored. The recognized students and their families were joined by PTO board members, School Board members, high school department chairs, community leaders and administrators from both Carmel High School and the Carmel Clay Schools. Additionally, seniors invited a Carmel Clay teacher who most influenced their academic success.
