Spanish Club schedules IU Honors Program meeting Sept. 22

by Beats

The Spanish Club has scheduled an informational meeting for the IU Honors Programs on Sept. 22 after school until 4 p.m. in Room B201.

The meeting will feature a representative from IU who will show presentations concerning abroad opportunities. Currently, the program will only be able to send students to Spain this summer.

“People should come to the IU Honors Program. I went to Oviedo, Spain for seven weeks in the summer,” Michael Young, co-president of the Spanish Club and senior, said.

“Spanish Club is for anyone into Spanish culture. You don’t have to speak the language,” Vazquez said.

Any junior or senior interested in applying for the program is welcome, although participants must demonstrate some proficiency of the Spanish language to travel abroad. By Andy Yang <ayang@hilite.org>
