GKOM members prepare for final party

According to freshman Hiram Choi, GKOM members had their last connection session with the freshmen on Oct. 29. During this connection session, the GKOMs informed the students about winter formal, Skip-a-Final and Dance Marathon. They also discussed past events that took place such as homecoming.

“The GKOM organization helps students have a smooth transition from middle school to high school,” sponsor Jennifer Powell said.

The GKOMs for each SRT class will now be preparing for a party in December to celebrate the end of the semester. According to Choi, GKOMs are not sure when they are going to have the party.

“The GKOMs are so helpful. Without them, I would not know much about any of these events,” Choi said. By Sarah Yun <syun@hilite.org>
