The Carmel Clay Education Foundation (CCEF) is now preparing for its 25th annual fundraiser to occur from Feb. 16 to 18.
“The telethon is a fund-raising event that helps the Carmel Clay Education Foundation to raise money for education grants to support curriculum and instructional excellence and student academic achievement through Carmel Clay Schools,” executive director Dorothy Ilgen said.
In affiliation with CHTV Channel 99, the telethon will feature interviews with students, teachers and community leaders as well as performances by student ensembles and choirs.
“The proceeds go to fund education grants that are awarded to support curriculum, instruction, technology, and other educational needs throughout the Carmel Clay Schools,” Ilgen said. According to Ilgen, students who wish to participate can contact her.
“The Telethon is one of the most important ways that the Carmel Clay Education Foundation raises funds each year,” superintendent Jeff Swensson said. By Yameen Hameed <firstname.lastname@example.org>
