Young Life scheduling unchanged

While continuing to shine with growing popularity, Young Life looks to continue its habitual and energetic activities such as songs, bible study and talks about Jesus.

As regularly scheduled, Campaigners takes place every Monday and Club takes place every Tuesday. Area director Jon Houghton said there is always a possibility of a change in location for the meetings if there comes a time and need.

“We have no upcoming plans of changing the location but the possibility of finding a bigger, free place, with good enough parking is always out there.”

Freshman Drew Auscherman is one of the many excited students to attend both Club and Campaigners. Auscherman has attended both meetings about the same amount of times and is looking forward to the next two meetings.

“I think at Club, it’s really tight how much energy can be generated in just one place at one time. On the other hand, at Campaigners it is awesome how you can just forget everything that’s gone on throughout the day and just talk about the Bible and God,” Auscherman said.

Auscherman said he continues to keep in touch with Houghton and always looks for the various advertisements throughout the day.

Houghton said although each year brings new faces, new activities, new experiences and most importantly new strength, this year has been a year of similarities.

“We continue to follow the tradition of ending Club with a serious talk at the end, and on the other side we continue to end Campaigners in groups discussing the topic for the week,” Houghton said. By Eric Dick <edick@hilite.org>
