Sept. 9 at 10:25 a.m. students and teachers will report to their respective assigned testing rooms (ATRs) to prepare for next week’s Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress test, or ISTEP, for sophomores, as well as a practice SAT for juniors.
“Teachers and students will go to their ATRs to make sure everyone is in the right place and prepared by the time testing comes,” Assistant Principal Ronda Eshleman said.
Students can pick up their schedules from their SRT teacher during first session of SRT today. Each student’s ATR is listed on their schedule after their eighth period class. “The run-through is just to make sure everything goes smoothly next week during testing,” Eshleman said.
On Sept. 18, while the sophomores and juniors are testing, seniors will go to the auditorium at 8 a.m. to see a multimedia presentation by a guest speaker on making good choices. The juniors will watch the presentation at 10 a.m. Also at 10 a.m., seniors will report to the varsity gymnasium to take a class picture.
