Junior and senior students and their parents can attend the college information night at this school on Sept. 24 or on Oct. 1. It will be held in the Freshman Cafeteria from 7 to 9 p.m. The first hour will cover general college information while the second session will discuss how students can get into selective colleges.
According to Vicki Nunery, college adviser at the College and Career Center, students and parents should attend this night event because it will benefit them in many ways. “In a short period of time, we will go into many topics that will help students in their college process,” Nunery said. The topics that will be discussed include GPA’s required by Indiana Schools, how to schedule a college visit, what colleges consider during their selection process, choosing a major, types of admissions, and financial aid.
