As school enters the month of November, Young Life’s Club and Campaigners’ schedule remains the same. Club, which consists of bible reading and conversation, is scheduled to continue to take place every Monday at 7:30 at the Browns’ house (13879 Coldwater Drive). Campaigners, which consists of excitement and energy, is scheduled to continue to take place every Tuesday at junior Samantha Miller’s house (525 Bolderwood Lane). According to Area director Jake VanAsten, although the schedule has no changes, the advertising does.
“Word of mouth and flyers in the cafeterias are continuing as usual,” VanAsten said. “But the real change is we are starting to increase the schools awareness of our Web site, carmel.younglife.org.”
Junior Conner Witsken said he not only attends both Club and Campaigners regularly, but he tries to aid in Young Life’s advertisement as much as he can.
“I just don’t see how anyone would not want to come,” Witsken said. “I mean dancing, singing, bible study and friends. I try to talk as many of my friends into going each week as possible. I know there’s usually a large attendance, but there can always be more.” By Eric Dick <[email protected]>
