Orchestra auditions scheduled for week of Feb. 7 and Feb. 14

According to orchestra director Soo Han, auditions for orchestra will occur the week of Feb. 7 and 14. All current orchestra students must try out for placement in either sinfonia, philharmonic or symphony orchestra during their class period.
Although students currently not enrolled in orchestra can audition, Han said this happens rarely.
“Typically, if you don’t know how to play an instrument, it’s difficult to join orchestra (after freshman year).” Han said.
Many students like Lydia Adams, member of philharmonic orchestra and sophomore, have been preparing for months.
