NHS schedules rehearsal, induction for new members

The 252 juniors who have been accepted for membership into the National Honor Society will participate in an induction rehearsal March 23 during SRT.

New members should have received a confirmation letter in their SRT on March 11, according to NHS assistant sponsor Tony Willis. That letter will serve as their SRT pass, he said, for reporting to the auditorium March 23 after the announcements.

The induction ceremony will take place March 27 in the high school’s Dale E. Graham Auditorium. Juniors who are participating in the induction as new members should report to the auditorium no later than 1 p.m., Willis said. Current members of the NHS who are working at the ceremony should arrive at 12:30 p.m.
