Captain Meetings have been replaced with Senior Roundtable Meetings, according to Athletics Director Jim Inskeep. The sponsors have held two meetings for next school year’s senior leaders and will have four more meetings this year.
“We have learned quite a bit about our student leaders and it has been very productive and enjoyable,” Inskeep said. “I think it has been beneficial for both students and the athletic administration.”
Sarah Bennett, one of the team leaders for the 2011-12 school year, said she hopes the meetings will be as effective as they were this year.
“I will be a senior next year, so I know how nerve wracking it can be to lead a team,” Bennett said. “The Senior Roundtable meetings will continue to teach the seniors on a team about leading their teammates towards success.” By Sheen Zheng
