Cafeteria finalizes menu, looks to next school year

The CHS cafeteria has finished making changes to its menu, and is looking at how to improve it for next year.

“I don’t think there’s going to be anymore changes (to the menu) for this school year,” Anne Marie Woerner, manager of the main cafeteria, said. “We did get a few suggestions that we might want to try out next year though. I’m still trying to figure out how to make some of those (suggestions) happen and whether or not they’re good ideas.”

Students such as sophomore Bryan Duffy look forward to future changes to the cafeteria menu.

“It’ll be nice to try new food after having almost the same menu for a year,” Duffy said. “I’m hoping that they keep items like Bosco Sticks and change the food in the specialty lines.”

While Woerner did not specify what sort of changes she is considering, she assures that such changes will be done carefully and may change due to feedback.

“At this point, I’m not really sure which suggestions I’ll take,” Woerner said. “I might just have a few students choose what they want, and then I’ll try them and see how it goes. I might not take all of the suggestions, but I’m always open to new ideas.” By Jerry Xu <[email protected]>
