Do Something to visit nursing home, meet on Sept. 27

The Do Something Club members will visit the Sunrise on Old Meridian, a nursing home in Indianapolis that club members volunteered at last year, according to club sponsor James Ziegler. In addition to that, Ziegler said he hopes to branch out and volunteer at other places.

“I think we’re going to try to expand to other places, too, such as Manor Care At Summer,” Ziegler said.

Ziegler and club co-president and junior, Hunter Leonard, said the club will meet every other Tuesday this year unless Ziegler is unavailable for a meeting. During their second meeting on Sept. 27, Ziegler said the club members will decide on specific projects for the club.
