The baseball team’s next game is against Hamilton Southeastern (HSE) April 14 at 5 p.m. at Hartman Field. This game comes after beating Zionsville 7-0, also at Hartman Field. The team will come into the game against HSE with a record of 2-0.

Daniel Roman, varsity baseball head coach, said via email, “We played well (against Zionsville.) We had far more quality at bats than we did against Hamilton Heights. Our pitching was excellent and the defense was stellar.”

Pitcher and junior Nick Maier said, “We played very well and got a big win against a very solid team.

He said he is the starting pitcher for the HSE game.

“I expect my team to bring high energy and play like we know we can and I’m looking forward to see some more fans come out.”

Roman said, “My expectations are to play the game the right way and control what we can control, our attitude and effort.”
