Mock Trial will compete against Sheridan High School this Wednesday in Mock Trial competition.

The Mock Trial team faced Westfield last week and Fishers the week before.

Rachel Krieger, Mock Trial member and sophomore, said, “The competitions are a lot of fun. It is cool how they have a real judge.”

Mock Trial club sponsor Holly Hochstedler said, “We are getting better each tournament and learning from our mistakes, so we can get ready for our all day tournament at the end of February.”

The Mock Trial team will not get back their scores until the end of the season, but they receive comments from the attorneys who judge the competition. The comments from both previous competitions have been mostly positive.  These comments help the team learn their strengths and weaknesses and improve.

According to Hochstedler, “I believe we have a very talented team this year and have a very good chance of winning the tournament this year.”
