According to swing instructor Carolyn Wiley, Swing Dance Club and Student Venture are hosting six-day getaway mission at Myrtle Beach from June 10 to 15. Wiley said members from both clubs are invited to go, but she said anyone can attend. Signup for the getaway is online at svindy.com. $25 are given to all first time conference attendees, and scholarships are offered to students if needed.

Angela Cosgrove, Swing Club president and junior, said she is encouraging every member of the club to go the retreat.

“This is a great way for the club to get to know each other better and to have some fun. An event like this during the summer is a cool way for the members to hang out and just relax,” Cosgrove said.
