Wild Bunch has recently acquired its spirit wear for the club. There are sweaters, shirts and this year hats have also been added to the list.
“I came up with the hats because they’re easier to wear and go better with the theme,” said Wild Bunch president Tori Singleton. The hats are hot pink and white with the name of the club printed across the center and are still being sold by club sponsor Wendy Gerardot for six dollars.
Both the shirts and the sweaters have a charcoal background, and for the first time the sweaters have hot pink zebra stripes on them. According to Gerardot, in past years many girls did not even bother to pick up the locker signs or shirts. The number of forgotten, leftover t-shirts in Gerardot’s room usually rounds out to be about twenty, however, this year there was only two.
For Wild Bunch, this senior class has had the most number of club members compared to past years and more people in the club means more people in the stands. Upcoming sports events that Wild Bunch will attend are Senior Night football on Oct. 12, men’s soccer Sectional and men’s and women’s cross-country. “I think it always impacts a team when there is a good amount of people that come. I think that always makes a team feel good,” Gerardot said.
