According to maintenance department faculty member, Mike Wyatt, the maintenance department is out to help those who are in need of fixed items.

“There is a SchoolDude work request program. Teachers, staff members, head departments, and administrators all us it, and that’s how they communicate with [the maintenance department] for things they need fixed,” Wyatt said.On top of helping faculty members in CHS, the maintenance department aids the construction team that works on field house parking lot that will soon be replaced by the new fitness center. They assist the construction team by locating and marking gas lines, and making sure the gas line is not connected to the Murray field building when the construction team pulls the line out.

Senior Andrew Babcock said, “Without the maintenance department, the school would not function to the best of its ability. The maintenance department is a key group that keeps the school running smoothly.”
