UNICEF will be participate in the event “Trick or Treat for UNICEF” as well as participating in the International Fair from Nov. 16 through 18.  Trick or Treat for UNICEF will take place Oct. 31 and the members are to go door to door and collect donations.

UNICEF club members will  be go door to door with the decorated boxes from the UNICEF organization that they received Wed. 17.  Jill Noel, UNICEF club sponsor, said she wants members to remember to be friendly and explain the purpose of why they are gathering donations. Noel hopes for at least $200 to be raised. “It’s a very important organization we’re raising money for,” Noel said.

In November, UNICEF will go to the International Fair. The International Fair is being held on Nov. 16 through 18 on Indiana State Fairgrounds. At the fair the club will be doing things such as face painting and selling different items, liked baked goods, which they did last year. Last year the club raised $60-$70.

At the same time UNICEF is deciding upon spirit wear. For the T-shirts, UNICEF has decided to use the quote, “Nobody can do everything, but everybody can do something.” The T-Shirt order date remains undecided.
