From Dec. 5 to 8, CHS choirs will perform in a winter choral concert, “Holiday Spectacular,” at 7:30 p.m. in the Dale E. Graham Auditorium. There will be an additional showing at 2 p.m. on Dec. 8.

In order to purchase tickets, students may visit the CHS bookstore or buy them online at TickeTracker. According to choral director Ann Conrad, few tickets remain, so students who wish to see the show should purchase them immediately. Also, tickets purchased online are nonrefundable.

Junior Jack Ballard said one of the main reasons he enjoys “Holiday Spectacular” is because of the effect the concert has on other people.

“It lets me spread holiday cheer to other students and spread the holiday spirit,” he said.

Conrad said students have been preparing for the concert since early October and have spent class time rehearsing songs, practicing choreography and being fitted for multiple costumes. In addition, all choirs began night rehearsals after Thanksgiving break.

“You think they would be scared about the number of hours they’re spending here around finals time, but it’s that excitement. We can’t wait until (“Holiday Spectacular”) happens because they feel so much pride in the production, and having 7,000 people come see something at a high school, I mean, that’s just unbelievable,” Conrad said.
