‘Call of Duty: Black Ops II’ Multiplayer Impressions (Wii U)

Call of Duty: Black Ops II Multiplayer Impressions (Wii U)

Sorry, I have not been updating recently. I have been sick, and quite frankly very busy. On Saturday, I purchased “Call of Duty: Black Ops II” on the Wii U, and I am pleasantly surprised from what I see. I have only played the multiplayer so far, but I like the way Treyarch uses the unique Wii U gamepad to affect gameplay. You have two options, you can either use the screen on the game pad as a map/task manager (change classes, call in scorestreak rewards), or you can just play the game itself on the screen altogether. I prefer the second option because I can turn off my TV, and focus on the game while avoiding distractions around the room.

The graphics are as good as its PS3/Xbox 360 counterparts, and it plays as well too. The only issue with the game I have is the fact that the online community is not large yet, as the Wii U has only been available for 2 months, so there are usually only about 2,000 people online at a time. This causes trouble for those who want to play anything other than Team Deathmatch or Demolition. Since those are the two primary modes a play, I really don’t have an issue with it.

If you have a Wii U, and don’t have Black Ops II, I recommend buying it. It is a great game with a few features that you cannot get on other gaming systems.
