Zhang said Checkers Club is still trying to get enough people involved to host a pizza tournament. The winner of this intramural checkers match, according to Zhang, will be awarded a pizza. “We’re still just getting started,” Zhang said.

Anatoly Morozonov, Checkers Club member and junior, said he is looking forward to the pizza tournament in addition to other future events of the club. “I’m looking forward to kinging everybody and winning that pizza,” Morozonov said.

Kluttz said Chess Club has no other upcoming events other than the team tournament. Club members are currently preparing for the tournament on March 23. According to Kluttz, additional information will be released later, or can be found on the club Facebook page.

“For right now we’re just going to continue coming to Chess Club to hang out after school,” Kluttz said.
