Global Giving decided to cancel the ping pong tournament due to the club members’ busy schedules, according to according to sponsor Ryan Ringenberg.

“Since I know the officers, me included, have a lot of AP tests and a lot of our members have pretty rigorous studies, we might hold off on doing an event, but maybe at one of our meetings we’ll have a little celebration,” co-president and junior Jessica Chiang said.

To wrap up the club for the year, Global Giving is going to have one more meeting. During the meeting, the club will present the officers with a small gift and the students will review what they have done over the year.

Chiang said, “I think (Global Giving) definitely could have improved in a lot of aspects, but it was nice to see the members who were really committed to the club keep coming back to the meetings, as sporadic as they were, but that was encouraging.”
