The blue team, however, beat the Summitt City Panthers from Fort Wayne 3-2 in overtime for the 1A ISHSHA State championship on the same day.

About Lio, Logan Gentile, right wing and defenseman for the Icehounds gold team and junior, said that they are a balanced team.

He said, “Their size is good and they’re quick.”

According to Gentile, training for the 2014-2015 season will likely start September.
