Living Hope Club plans to discuss its involvement with Center for Global Impact (CGI) according to Grace Miller, co-vice president and junior. Club members will also discuss new ways to fundraise for their cause, as bake sales are no longer allowed.

CGI helps women, mainly in Cambodia, find their way out of poverty and get a job. It primarily serves victims of human trafficking.
“Basically (club members) are finding out ways to help out with trunk shows. That way we can help sell the items that the women made in Cambodia, so that the percent of the profit goes back to them,” Miller said.
Sponsor Diana LaRose said the next meeting will be Sept. 25. LaRose also said members did have a Homecoming booth as an alternate fundraiser to the past bake sales.
