The Youth Changing the World: How to Plan and Fund a Community Service Project event will take place on Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. in the program room of the Carmel Clay Public Library (CCPL). Teens will learn the value of community service and how to plan and fund one. There will be speakers and presentations at the event.

Jamie Beckman, young adult librarian at the CCPL, said students should go to this event.

“Students should attend the Youth Changing the World: How to Plan and Fund a Community Services Project because it provides a hands-on opportunity to learn how to effect the change they want to see in their communities and in the wider world,” Beckman said via email.

Junior Gloria Xue, Teen Library Council (TLC) member at the CCPL, said she agrees with Beckman.

“You get good advice on how to help the community,” Xue said.
