The next Club Med meeting is scheduled for Nov. 17 in room B207.

According to Roxy Nour, Club Med president and junior, there are bi-weekly Monday meetings that lead up to the Neuro-Science bowl (Fifth Annual Brain Bee competition) at IUPUI coming up in December.

“We have had a couple dissections, like last week we had a brain dissection and a lot of new people came out to that and it was really interesting. This week we have a pluck dissection,” Rour said.

According to Club Med sponsor, Sarah Gillim, since medicine is a very broad topic, talking about new sections every meeting helps cover the basics.

“A lot of the members are planning to go to medical school, and preparing for that means covering the means of medicine,” Gillim said.
