Chemistry+Club+to+meet+Jan.+26

BeatC.Vemuri.01.20.PictureChemistry club plans to have its next meeting on Jan. 26 after school in room B208, according to club sponsor Virginia Kundrat.

Ryan Jou, club president and junior, said club members will be preparing for the Chemistry Olympiad at this meeting by taking practice tests.

“Chemistry Olympiad is an exam that people can take. The top few winners can possibly get scholarships, and you (can) go on from the local level to the national level and then so on,” Jou said.

According to Jou, no other special events are planned for the rest of the semester.

Jou said, “We’re putting our demonstrations at schools on hold for now.”
