The title writes itself, really. Based off of the book of the same name by Eddie Huang, chef, restrauateur, food personality and former lawyer, the new ABC sitcom “Fresh Off the Boat” follows the adventures of a younger version of the author and his experiences growing up as a second generation immigrant in a predominantly white neighborhood. Like it’s fellow ABC show “Black-ish,” it uses comedy to tackle the issue of cultural identity in a foreign place. This show has not gone unnoticed by CHS students, some of whom voice their opinion of it below.
