“Together, I feel like if this clubs works together we can really make a difference. Yes, gay marriage has become legal in the United States, but there’s still a lot of work to be done,” Horner said.
Club member and sophomore Mackenzie Gonzalez said she agrees with Horner and said if the gay community keeps working together the world may be able to find a way to end discrimination.
“I think it’s important that we keep thinking of way to better our community. If one day our world can be a place with complete and utter equality, then we can stop bettering the world. But until then, it is our duty to the world to keep pushing for a better tomorrow,” Gonzalez said.
