
This past weekend, seventeen CHS students participated in the National History Day Indiana State Contest. Of those who competed, three students placed either first or second in their category, meaning that they will compete in the National History Day National Contest in June at College Park, Maryland.
Freshman Grace Hong and Jessica Zhang won first place for their website about the explorations and encounters of Marie Curie. Find the link to the winning website here.
Sophomore Bailey Ward won second place for her exhibit on Alexander Hamilton’s explorations and encounters while creating the US currency.
The following students also participated at the state contest for National History Day.
